Population and dissenters: There are fifty Families, one of which is a Presbyterian. There is no licenced or other Meeting <house> nor any Teacher.
Public or charity schools:
There is not any publick or charity School endowed or otherwise maintaind in this Parish.
Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment:
There is not any Alms=house, Hospital, or any other charitable Endowment. No Lands or Tenements have been left for the repair of the Church or other pious uses.
Residence upon cure:
I do not reside in this Parish, but in the Parish of Malborough to which this Cure is annex'd.
Curate:
I am allowed by Licence thirty Pound per Annum, by agreement with the present vicar of West Alvington to which this Parish is annexed. Thirty five Pounds.
N:B: The vicarage of West=Alvington contains four Parish[es]
Alvington & South=Milton are Served by the Vicar. Malbro' & South=Huish by his Curate.
Frequency of divine service:
Sundays, Fast & Thanksgiving days. Divine Service is performed but once in the day with a Sermon, because Malbro' is annex'd.
Number of communicants:
There are about twenty Communicants, twelve or fourteen of whom usually receive, & about that number communicated at Easter last past.
Catechising of children:
I Catechise the children in the church one in the year, which is commonly in ye Summer quarter. The Parishioners do not send their children to be instructed, they being either taught their Catechism at home or at School.
